The prophetic eyes are not just eyes which see the future but they are eyes which see a heavenly vision and see it in the context of present affairs. 

When we consider that in Isaiah 45 that God foretells the raising up of Cyrus a foreign king raised up to get Israel restored to her land and her spiritual inheritance we can wonder today if God will raise up again rulers who will provoke us back into our covenantal position.  

I believe so. 

When we also consider the positioning of God’s servants during that time. 

Jeremiah was the last pre Captivity voice that cried out against Judah’s backsliding and the consequences that were coming.  

Ezekiel was carried with the captives so he was a voice of the Captivity to the captives.  

Daniel was raised up in the king’s of Babylon to the Persians; his wisdom causing him to walk the courts of kings to influence them for the good towards God’s people. 

Zechariah was raised up to prepare a new priesthood for the captives to renew their covenant with God.  

Nehemiah was raised up to build and defend the physical restoration of Israel. 

Ezra was raised up to oversee the feasts and spiritual disciplines and the installation of the priesthood in the new temple. 

So all down through those difficult years God positioned anointed prophetic voices to prepare key people for what God was about to do. 

The Captivity was a key preparation time to prepare Israel for Jesus; their messiah. 

How did they do that? 

They were given heavenly vision to accompany their words so that they would flow and understand what God was doing imparting vision and hope which was lost in their uprooting. 

God was positioning nations about Israel so that when the Church was birthed it could spread to all mankind. We need to know what heaven is DOING AND DECLARING OVER OUR GENERATION. 

God had to uproot Israel so that in their hearts was uprooted the evil that had so become installed in their hearts. In a sense God had to reboot their “system” so that He could “restore” the purity of the Word that they were given. 

There is much “uprooting” taking place through the nations because God is placing His prophets to oversee their season. This season maybe the season which God is giving to you. 

When the angel of death passed over Egypt the Israelites were given the Lamb; the bread; and the Blood to signify their distinction. And when the angel saw the Blood He would pass over. This deliverance was a percursor to their own deliverance.  God is allowing to pass many “death” angels over the world so that through Christ can be found deliverance.  This is that season. God is taking us to a new Land.  

God is sending His prophets to work with us in specific  seasons with heavenly visions. These will impart HOPE to us. We must recognise these true prophets. They bring

1. Heavenly vision 

2. Our requisite to flow in that visionary purpose.

3. Our hope and purpose in a context of that heavenly vision.  

In Psalm 126 shows us the Restoration of the Desire for Zion. A passion for the place of Glory was birthed in God’s people in Captivity. The dream was given to them of the return to Zion where they would see His Glory and have their identity and possessions back.  

God is giving people a “desire for Zion” . He is birthing a cry to return. This is a preparation for a revival. 

They were like those that dreamed. And God positioned His people in such a way that they saw this happen. A king wrote a declaration telling all that God’s people were to return to build their faith and their cities and homes.

We debate politics and candidates but we need to pray that God uses governments and presidents to open the way for God’s people to experience the revival that they need and which opens the way for JESUS to come!!

“GREAT THINGS HAS DONE THE LORD TO THESE THAT THEY ARE JOYFUL” 

indeed the Greatness of the Lord is going to be manifest for all to see. Indeed this joy will pour out in such a way that God will be recognised. So great will be the Restoration on the Church that these works will be seen as great. And they are happening.  

“THEY THAT SOW WITH TEARS SHALL SURELY REAP IN JOY” 

This last 5 weeks had seen tears in my family; of pain; difficulty but I can testify that my daughter is recovering more than expected.  The faith we had to learn and it’s patience has paid off. Indeed the time of pain and loss is temporal so that we can prepare for full restoration. When our heart turns to Him fully we shall see His great works come into our home and church.  

Too much religion has come and little joy. Some have closed; some have lost their place in ministry but we know that God is coming into a great revival of true joy which is not just LAUGHING but is moving geographically; getting new places; possessions; innovations ; new place and way of worship; new home in the Spirit.  

So the Eyes of the Prophetic see heaven preparing a RAIN  WHICH SHALL FALL OVER THE NATIONS bringing in a harvest of souls because of Joy. 

Hebrews shows us what that JOY is in Chapter 1 and chapter 12. It is a place in God where you dominate over your trials because your focus is not relief but it is revive. You focus on your God and the place you will come into when you submit to the process and He Himself causes you to return.

Indeed the prophetic word is; my people I will cause you to RETURN UNTO YOUR FIRST LOVE AND YOUR FIRST JOY; AND AS YOUR FIRST PRIORITY IS ME I SHALL GIVE YOU AUTHORITY AND DOMINION. I SHALL CAUSE YOU TO SEE ZION THROUGH THE NATIONS AND YOU SHALL DWELL IN MY GLORY. 

The prophetic oversees and supervises the season through heavenly vision; have you seen and heard it?
