1 Reis 18:41-46

Então disse Elias a Acab: Sobe, come e bebe, porque ruído há de uma abundante chuva. E Acab subiu a comer e a beber; mas Elias subiu ao cume do Carmelo e se inclinou por terra, e meteu o seu rosto entre os seus joelhos. E disse ao seu moço: Sobe agora, e olha para a banda do mar. E subiu, e olhou, e disse: Não há nada. Então disse ele: Torna lá sete vezes. E sucedeu que, à sétima vez, disse: Eis aqui uma pequena nuvem, como a mão de um homem, subindo do mar. Então disse ele: Sobe, e dize a Acab: Aparelha o teu carro, e desce, para que a chuva te não apanhe. E sucedeu que, entretanto, os céus se enegreceram com nuvens e vento, e veio uma grande chuva: e Acab subiu ao carro, e foi para Jezreel.

And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain. So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not. And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

The last week I have heard from ministry friends in Brazil concerning the injustices and protests starting from lorry drivers who are the main distribution businesses for all government and private institutions. The country is about to come to a standstill with common products like petrol and foodstuffs running in short supply.

I went to the Lord on this and here is what He spoke to me.

I apologise to my Brazilian friends who have yet to have this message in their language but this will come in due course.

The Lord is bringing to a close a season of drought and hunger. Due to the sin of the leadership. The Lord is going to use the Church to bring the nation to its Carmel. The nation must acknowledge that Yahweh is God not money, not influence.

The Lord is about to bestow in the Church in Brazil a sense of covenant for which a new prayer movement shall gather pace and shall call down fire, fire which shall be the sign. The altar of which money and corrupt influence shall be burned up and God will not allow ashes or any remains of this remain.

There shall be a prepared people who shall be used to build an altar and impossible circumstances of this altar will show that the fire of God is real. All shall see it and proclaim Yahweh is God. They shall forsake the power of greed and the corruption of influence.

The Lord is about to rain upon the land and so the King who shall see the fire shall be warned of the rain. For the Church will need to ascend the mount again to call for rain. There will need to be consistent and continual prayer.

The Lord says to the Church in Brazil that the current situation is for the Church to assume responsibility and become a voice in the nation. It is time for the Church to recognise the moment that it will not be political initiatives that will change governments and hearts but a work of mountain top prayers.

The Lord says as Mordecai said to Esther, seize the moment. Who knows if you have been raised up for a time such as this? If you do not act i shall raise deliverance from another place but you shall be lost in this interim period.

Indeed the moment to seize the moment is now. For already the sound of rain comes from heaven. The Lord says to the prophets in Brazil ‘ do you not hear it?’ Go up your mountain and pray in the cloud from the sea of nations.

For indeed as this crisis seems bad it is a doorway to change says the Lord to the Church in Brazil.
