​Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.  Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

Psalms 122:6‭-‬7 KJV

Jerusalem of today is a prophecy of things to come. 

God will build Jerusalem from the earthly representation we see today.  Jerusalem in all its controversy and confusion is a test for all of mankind.  

It has been the place where kingdoms rose and fell in spite of her. Temples and altars were built in her walled boundaries.  

Today inasmuch as in other generations nations will fall in the measure of their treatment of Jerusalem. 

There are those who hate her.  They hate what she represents; the eternal destiny of the Redeemed and the damnation of her enemies! 

Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.

Psalms 129:5 KJV

Sadly today nations turned against Zion. They enabled the UN to force Israel back to pre 1967 boundaries by banning all new Jewish settlements and the nations include the US; New Zealand and others.  

It is imperative that the Church in these nations repent in the place of their governments.  The reason is they pass as enemies not only of Zion but God Himself. 

When we pray for the “Shalom ” of Zion and of Jerusalem we are aligning ourselves to the eternal plan of God which started in Abraham; passing down through Moses and to David and to Christ. 

In 586BC the temple was destroyed as well as the city. God also judged Babylon and in one night did she fall.  God restores His people back to the city. 

Yet in the hour of their Visitation they did not recognise and in 70AD the temple was destroyed as well as Yeshua had prophesied . God instituted a new invisible Jerusalem for which its inhabitants will be the Redeemed. This means Jerusalem will be visited and they shall see who they had pierced.  Zechariah 12:10. 

Yeshua shall touch His feet before Jerusalem and He shall judge and rule from there. 

There is a spirit abroad which deceives the whole world. Our citizenship depends on how we see Jerusalem and how we invest in her. 

These are days to pray for her prosperity; her well being and her continual existence. Without which we shall be counted as her enemies. 

The press have manipulated societies to think against things and take in mindset which go against the Word of God. 

Let us make a stand in the Spirit today!
