The Road to the Right Hand 32c; when faith and hope are complete

11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen

The Holy Bible: King James Version, Electronic Edition of the 1900 Authorized Version. (Bellingham, WA: Logos Research Systems, Inc., 2009), Heb 11.

This verse in the whole of Scripture is key to the heavenly perspective we need to have specifically now. We are at the place within this series that we see the completion of Christ’s journey. Our completion if we are steadfast in Him, is coming soon. This verse is an explanation of what faith is, but it has an end time application.

“substance”, hupostasis in the Greek, means we can rely on, rest upon the exchange that comes when faith is entered into. The substance is not of this creation, it is heavenly. It is something we receive, as Jesus said to the disciples in Acts 1:8, But you shall receive POWER when the Holy Spirit comes on you…There is an imperative thing that happens. Once Jesus appears it is indicative that this invisible substance meant to reinforce our hope shall be so complete that along with Christ it shall appear…there shall be a corporate revealing of what until now was invisible. The substance comes from the dimension of hope, where all is established, all is predetermined. What was reserved in our Sonship, the Holy Spirit, our Guarantee, will manifest the sum total of God’s promises to us.

The “elenco” of things not seen, will suddenly appear as Jesus appears also. Two things, are two pillars, things HOPED for, things not seen. Our hope will manifest in fulfilment of the new creation, that is the new heaven and earth. That which so lacked in our walk will suddenly appear and we shall embrace those things we believed for. It will be like the passing of the Jordan, coming out of the wilderness, and taking possession of that which God promised generations.Right now I believe there is an attack against our hope. If the devil can steal our hope, he can steal our joy and our vision.

When our spiritual senses and our physical senses become one, we do not need faith. This is the completion of Jesus’ journey to the Right Hand of the Father. All deception, delusion will also be extinguished as Christ reigns over His Kingdom. May we look with hope to this day.

Maranatha!!!
