Its coming…

The final chapters of The Road to the Right Hand are coming. I have been struggling against health issues and spiritual issues.

The Word that I seek to present is not the superficial or the traditional interpretation. It is spiritually and prayerfully acquired.

It is not about just following a theme, rather it is discovering the deep and profound tapestry of the Christian faith.

We have been rocked with the death of a dear believer, Ann Widdecombe which has been harrowing and there are still underlying question why someone would kill another human being. I had a choice to either politicise this death, make it a human crusade and seek to broadcast human justice like some do.

Instead I thought about the blood, which led officers to motive. I think her blood should count for something profound. The country does not need a Church woke that it cannot combat the spirit of the age,  or militant and charismatic that it becomes sectarian itself.

A praying Church, the same praying as the two widows in a cottage in Barvas, Hebrides, burning peat to keep warm. They prayed to a covenant keeping God who never forsook those who cited His Promises. The sound of Chariot Wheels were heard before the islands shook with the incoming glory. No-one was left untouched.

The political spirit has deceived many to believe that change comes via political process. The halls of power do not need manifesto, policy and leader in the normal way. It needs leaders as fruit of a mighty visitation, prayed down by those who may be blind or deaf as those widows were.

They did not have a platform, nor smoke machines,  or even a band to put out great rhythmic songs which have this day no power nor rich truth. Rather God chose the most disabled to enable a land in 1948 to receive the greatest visitation that land ever saw.

The UK and the Hebrides has rich spiritual seed in its soil for which revival praying can bring again days of light and days of glory.

The divisions of communities represented here shall find by Spirit a new level of unity and love for a nation of missionary pioneering again.

It won’t be just marching, marching has its place, but it will be those who like Nehemiah see the United Kingdom like Jerusalem,  in misery, gates burned with fire. Walls thrown down. The walls of the Gospel are being thrown down. There is good news. It’s not by slogans we will see the nation turned round. It’s by heart felt praying and humbling ourselves and see God’s glory descend again.

The blood of Ann Widdecombe and others will not be for any vengeance, but the enemy of this nation will know that he has gone too far. It is not a people, nor a ideology that is our enemy other than the devil himself.

When the prayers of the saints produce angels in the streets of London and the cities across the land so the agents of division will fear the Church again.

Its time to take the prayers again and sow into the soil of the nation so that the seeds of former revivals can shoot up again.

Maranatha!!!
