The Road to the Right Hand 28;  of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed

We are on the road to wrap up this journey from the Mount of Transfiguration, Jesus the Son of Man, transitions from this to Son of God through the Cross and resurrection and now we see the revealing of the Son of David.

Why is being the Son of David being so important?

It is the same order than Melchizedek in which the Kingly,  priestly and prophetic flow together! It may also be an indication of the reconciliation of Israel to their Messiah and His return.

Its also interesting that this “prevailing ” appears many times in the book of Revelation being that we put the heavenly vision before the pain of persecution. What a wonderful vision of the Lamb that prevailed and became a Lion.

We are presented in Revelation 5, with a book with 7 seals.

The Word with its seals

We see 3 types of judgements in Revelation; seals, trumpets and bowls. They are the imagery of the effect of each judgment. The seals are OPENED, consequences that appeared to come very slowly and seems that there are none.

It seems as Jesus is manifest as Son of David, King of kings, these seals begin to be opened. For this Jesus is revealed as having the only qualifications to open the seals.

Jesus being at the Right Hand is preparation for the new phase in the judgments that make way for the recompenses for the saints.

The seals are sealed at the beginning of this chapter it is declared no-one is found worthy. John is taken up in the emotion of the moment weeps as he sees the seals being a door way to greater and higher purposes.

Then the most unlikely image of the Lamb comes forward, is found worthy,  because of His broken body, shed blood and submissive spirit to the Father.

He is found worthy, by the Most High.

Daniel 7 describes the process of Jesus’ exaltation. He is given dominion and a Kingdom.

Jesus opening the Seals

In this journey we need to understand WHO is the key person in all creation and existence; the Lord and King Yeshua.

It is logical from the point we stand as saints that our intimacy with Jesus now will pave the way for our Adoration before His Throne knowing of a surety we shall inherit the Kingdom and live with Him forever.

Once He is found worthy the hosts of heaven worship the Lamb. We need to reposition our worship and put Jesus at the centre knowing that worship in Church is preparation before His Throne.

Maranatha!!!
