Each day we have read since 2020 the escalation of chaos in all sectors. We have to understand that these process of demolition, destructuring, desolation are essential ingredients for preparing for great changes from heaven’s initiative and point of view.
In Daniel 10, he understands that the prophecy of Jeremiah is fulfilled but lacks the end fulfilment of restoration. As a man of God he goes to prayer. In 21 days no response is given. Sadness enters his heart. He believes the fact God does not answer means that either something is wrong with him or with the original prophecy. Maybe they were to be confined to Babylon, and that their land has been lost forever. Can you imagine the turmoil in his heart? Yet an angel comes and reveals the turmoil and war in the heavens occuring to prevent both the revelation and the changes in course. Babylon a major world power was to disappear overnight. God was preparing for something really big. Persia replaced Babylon as a world power, but it was to be transitionary.
In this time God reveals to Daniel the next stage in His plan. The placing of His King on the Holy Hill (Psalm 2:7), given dominion, power and wealth. That this Kingdom would be no end, and would usher in the eternal and perfect rule of God. (Daniel 7). The answer is that the movement and changes of kingdoms is part of God’s plan for His people and dismay was not to be had. The 70 years was preparation for the great changes. Cyrus was not a Babylonian king, but Persian. It would be he who would show favour to Israel, and send back her people to restore her.
Upheavals always brings the people of God to be where they should be
We should not be dismayed when great political, military and war upheavals take place. Just as Babylon disappeared in one night so can our great powers disappear. What precedes this is the mockery of Belshazzar. The attitude of that great feast was mockery of Solomon’s temple and its vessels. The attitude was that just as the God of Israel was disgraced so others would follow. Yet God had the last words. Daniel interprets the writing on the wall, and the end is declared. It comes quicker than all would expect, that very night.
God will not be mocked and He is coming to remove the arrogant from their place. This removal brings to the fore the fulfilment of Jeremiah’s prophecy and the restoration of God’s people to their possession. God is moving through world affairs, and always has done. This move of God is in favour of His people. Many who have been in “captivity” and “bondage” are about to be brought back into restoration.
The Lord has a place for His people. And covenantally He has set Himself the goal of getting His people there. Hence the upheavals.
Whose Kingdom?
The question in all this, is whose kingdom will prevail? We know from both Acts 2 and Revelation 1 that Jesus entered the fulness of His Kingdom and Dominion, which means that He is actively rolling out the conditions for a mighty end time confrontation where satan’s kingdom will be broken forever. We must embrace this King Jesus, and depart from an overemphasis on the Saviour Jesus, because the time of Grace and the Gospel is coming to a close. This means that those within the Gospel will come into their full salvation and God will redirect the priority for the reconciliation of Israel to embrace Her Messiah, and embrace the Gospel message for them. The whole number of the Gentiles will have come in, predetermined by God to come in from the beginning of time. We are just about to enter that time, why do you think that there is an almighty unrest concerning Gaza? This is a shadow of what is to come when Jews all over the Globe go back to Jerusalem. The question that needs to be answered through God’s people is: what Kingdom are you going to profess and manifest? The fullness of Kingdom is about to be activated in the people of God, principally King Jesus in the form of David to call the attention of Israelites everywhere to provoke jealousy! If the rejection of Jews of Jesus is trillions of souls in salvation, what will their reconciliation mean? For the manifestation of Kingdom to take place there must be a manifestation of the King in the midst of God’s people!!!
The end times is about reflecting the king you serve
Psalm 2 talks about the transition from earthly and demonic kings to serving the King of Kings and Lord of lords. Acts 4 shows the Church pray in one spirit this Psalm, and the result is shaking and filling with the Spirit. I believe that prayer needs to be prayed again, as they prayed just the 1st 2 verses we need to pray verse 7, as God the Father must confirm the Throne upon the earth. Our authority can only be received and exercised in the measure that the Throne is embraced and envisioned. Right now the Church is by large still in the former seasons of Jesus the Saviour. Yes, whilst there is time the Gospel must be preached, but there are two aspects to the ministry of Jesus. He is both Cristos and Kurios. We must embrace them both until Jesus appears. The end time, our place in them, is dependent on the King we reflect. If we are walking with Christ in truth, His Kingly likeness will start to shine from us. If it is the king of darkness we will reflect him. The way that evangelists are being persecuted and arrested here in the UK, shows who is reflecting which king is being served.
Concluding words
It is not by chance that there are upheavals today, in every level of life, cost of living, housing, pandemics, health systems, political systems, wars, as these are reflecting a satanic narrative. It feels that a governmental circuit across the world is a crime syndicate. It is without doubt that demonic forces since 2020 have escalated the programme of satanic entrenchment to prevent the King appearing. We must be encouraged by this, because as there is rising up and falling down, we will be in the right place in the right time, and be entering our finest hour. We must remember that never before has there been this level of shaking. If we are reflecting and manifesting the King, we shall see a binding up of satanic authorities. We need to be like the Early Church that prayed Psalm 2, but this time we must proclaim, declare the Father to confirm the Throne of the Son, then there shall be a great move of God in the Earth. Let us see upheaval and shaking to being the establishing and defeating of all that that comes against the completion of the full manifestation of the Kingdom of Christ and His God!!
