What comes to mind on this day 9/11 is lamentations of Jeremiah, being spoken as the forces of Nebuchadnezzar entered Jerusalem to destroy.
When we saw the above on all the TV networks our hearts sank, our strength failed us.
9/11 Mark’s a great transition in the affairs of men. It marks maybe the entry of the Red Horse of revelation, making war of a different kind.
And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
Revelation 6:4 KJV
Certainly all remember 9/11 as a moment when war entered a new level. Now a enemy networked all over the earth was to strike at the heart of business and finance in the Western world.
“TAKE PEACE FROM THE EARTH”.
Could this taking of peace away be even more at a deeper level too? Could not this spiritual entity be also entering into all levels of life? Could we surmise that the killing be now right down to our local warfare in broken families, churches, ministries, businesses? Killing referring to the “taking of life“.
If you take peace away you open the door to war and death!
However, the Word promises us peace by covenant.
Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
Ezekiel 37:26 KJV
There is our covenant of peace. So as we remember 9/11 and the lives which were lost, and those who were involved in the rescue operation we remember in the aftermath.
Let us remember that if the Red Horse is riding through the world then we have a covenant that guards us from his influence.
If our home, church, ministry or business has constant warfare then we must invoke the jurisdiction of the covenant of peace.
We remember 9/11.
Shalom.
