This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. 

 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.  Who is this King of glory?

The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.  Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.  

Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

Psalms 24:6‭-‬10 KJV

This morning there is no doubt that our nation is under attack . I woke up disturbed in spirit. Disturbed not with fear but an urgent spirit waiting to hear the Word from heaven over a nation under siege. 

The Lord has and will speak. 

This is the generation that seek Him…or to put it prophetically THIS WILL BE THE GENERATION THAT SEEKS HIM…

The UK is privileged as it has been the nation awakened by spiritual reformers and revivalists that changed the face of the world. These generations sowed in prayer. Those seeds are in the British soil. They are covenantal before God. And God remembers the UK today.

The Lord calls not individuals but a generation. From leaders downward. The King of Glory desires to come to the UK in His Kingly authority. For this He must see a generation that seeks Him. Like never before we must hear the call of the Bridegroom to the Bride, calling for her presence, calling for her devotion. For so long the Bride has elevated program and formula to function. The Groom is calling for intimacy. 

My attention was drawn to Esther. The wicked Haman was plotting as the enemies are plotting against the structure of the UK today. The Queen being taken from her covenantal stock as a Jew knew well what was being plotted against. Mordecai sends word that she was in a privileged place that called for understanding of God’s purpose and an understanding to act before the King in the right time. If she did not God would have to raise up another but she herself would not escape. She would perish even in her position. 

And there is many ideologies that could take hold and thrust the Church from her position of privilege in this nation. 

It is the day that the Church in the UK know that she has been favoured by the Lord and adorned as Esther. Indeed oils of anointing have come upon her, some bitter oils when division threatened her, and fragrant oils when God visited her. 

The King chose to act according to the favour bestowed upon Esther. It was not for her to present herself before Him. Yet after prayer and fasting she knew the risks of presenting herself without being summoned. Yet the King gazed upon her and extended his sceptre. 

The Lord extends His Sceptre on the Church in the UK. He gazes upon her and grants her favour. And through her intercession did the King kill the one who plotted against God’s people. 

In Psalm 24 we see a waiting King who desires to enter. First the everlasting and ancient doors must open. 

These doors are old doors of Prayer, intercession. 

It was this scripture that was prayed through when the Spirit was outpoured on the Island of Lewis in 1948. 

Psalm 24 asks the question; who is this King of Glory? 

Indeed the country asks this morning who is the King of Glory? 

The Church has the power to open its doors and let Him come in. 

Let the Church take hold of the Sceptre of God and use the favour that God has placed to covenantally cut off the enemies of God. For this nation’s doors in the Spirit are ancient. They open for the King and closed for His enemies.
