Yadah 1: when in a season of “I don’t know” scenarios.

This series to become eventually a book we must approach Yadah as the Hebrews did. Only this way does academic/theological knowledge become intimately interactive with our being.

I believe all of us pass through extensive seasons where we simply do not know. What is the answer?

The “I do not know” statement is a deeper issue that needs identification and discernment.

Let us examine the arenas where “I don’t know ” can be overcome

1. A lack of Yadah at work; a lot of our discernment concerning direction either in spiritual, geographical, character layers must be sought on the basis of acquiring Yadah, where God interweaves His Knowledge through a process where we pass the tests where our main motivation is not gaining knowledge or direction for that objective only. We come to the realisation that knowledge can only come through an intimate and relational connection with God. It cannot be mechanical.
2. Knowing that for Yadah to intiate it’s work in us where must abide in the truth that God is beyond us and as such He has the right to hide some knowledge so that it can only be released as levels of maturity, intimacy are achieved. In this way we must defer to His Sovereignty in the not knowing.
3. Whilst Yadah suggests a eventual spiritual union with God, this union does not ever do away with the fact that God is Creator and we His Creation.
4. Yadah is a day to day walk which will only be complete when Jesus appears and returns. It is dependent on the Kronos events which take us in predetermined steps towards His return. Kairos seasons prepare us for character and maturity seasons where we are completely ready to be changed into our eternal being.
5. Yadah shows us where we are and equips us with patience and hope. These character virtues causes us to capture each moment in our intimate walk with Jesus. Our ascertaining discernment about Kronos times and Kairos seasons is based upon the benefits of true Yadah at work within us.

I believe we are at the moment in a season of “I do not know ” because God needs to work “Yadah” in us to bring us in a conforming into the image of Him who created this new creation; Jesus. If we lack sensual knowledge , that is knowing based upon knowledge based on our senses we must understand that our walk in Yadah must depend upon spiritual senses that have been trained. These are put in motion as we exercise toward God submission and trust.

Our lack of knowledge does not imply that God does not have control over what should be known. What we were trained to do from birth is to base our knowing based upon our perception through our 5 senses. In the Christian walk we must undo this.

Our lack of knowledge can present a sense of losing control, where Yadah can operate through spiritual disciplines such as prayer, Bible Study, the activities of the Church with interaction with leaders.

The Bible shows us that the challenges of the end times will require Yadah to prevail to the end.

John 4 shows us that the Father looks for those who “worship” Him in Spirit and Truth. That “worship” being prostrate before He who is beyond us, deferring to Him the direction and course of our lives we open in this position the activation of Yadah.

May we in this series acquire increasing measure of intimate knowledge of God, based upon our walk of fellowship with Him. That our conforming to the inage of Christ day by day.
