Yadah: An introduction

This new series is neatly embarked on after 7 months studying Jesus’ journey from the Transfiguration to the Right Hand of the Father. “Yadah” implies intimate knowledge that requires an intimate interaction with God. It implies that in all that God is to us, all that God does in us and through us has always the “Yadah” in mind. It is the hub that causes the wheel to have consistency in its application.

The Word is full of examples where “Yadah” is explained and we see manifest in the lives of the peoples which the Bible demonstrates their impact for Israel. Hebrews 11 gives us a gallery view of the Heroes of Faith. In all of their example “Yadah” is the crux of the efficacy of their faith.

In Luke 24 we see Yadah at work when the Scriptures were opened by Jesus. Their hearts interacted in the higher knowledge hidden from them because of their grief and confusion, but their “yadah” interaction in which their hearts burned they were able to truly see the Lord.

In this new series I pray and hope as we intimately interact with the Lord we recognise Him as He is. The Bible exists to lead us into Yadah. We live in Him accessing Yadah as the key to walk in a place where the world no longer dictates its priorities or destinies for us. Yadah has one destination, be in the New Heaven and Earth with Him, seeing Him and intimately relating to Him in a perfect environment.

May God lead us in ever increasing measures of Yadah, that we truly and intimately KNOW Him.

Maranatha!
