The Road to the Right Hand 25: whom the heavens must receive UNTIL…

We are wrapping up this series which has been intense, profound and inspiring. When I was considering a new series after John’s wilderness, the Lord showed me a road, from the Mount of Transfiguration to the Right Hand of the Father. I knew that this road is one we must also tread in this life and into the next.

What started out in Glory on that Mount of Transfiguration, ends in Glory in the New Heavens and New Earth. However the crucial point is that “heaven must receive Him.” He has to be at the Right Hand, because it is there that He supervises the times of refreshing and times of restitution. Its a prophetic and profoundly deep reality before us. This road as illustrated by the image above is not just triumphant, there is deep sacrifice involve. It cost the Messiah’s life. It will cost the lives of those who profess to follow Him.

The phrase has a condition; the heavens must receive Him UNTIL , which is conditional and has a limitation. There is a time limit. I believe that the return of Jesus brings to an end the Right Hand experience, in the sense of supervising end time events. Jesus will sit on His White Throne, and there comes the ultimate judgments. It is judgment first then a reward for the righteous.

The interchangeable chain of Kronos events, Kairos seasons will end, eternity will come in fullness and there will be no need for time. Time has played out, chances and opportunities have been given to respond to the work of the Messiah and access the Grace afforded by the work on Calvary. Mankind will meet the consequences of their choices.

There are particularly 3 streams that Jesus has executed…in the Gospels: Son of Man, in the Church age, Son of God, and now we are moving to the Son of David. This means whatever and however we read concerning David in the Old Testament, the ultimate is that David pioneered the conditions for the Habitation of God with men. With Jesus as Son of David, He will bring the Habitation of God in every realm for man. Redeemed Man.

I am not sure if you have discerned God’s revelation in what we have been journeying the past few weeks. There is no reference to the traditional view of end times theology, rather in detail we have seen God draw back the curtains that have held us back from beholding. The End Times is about the enthroning of the Son of David on His Throne. The implications are shakings, judgments and great upheavals, so that a new order may be established. It has a set beginning in the word “UNTIL’, it draws a demarcation between one age to another.

The Book of Hebrews seems to describe this age…particularly chapter 2, when its alluding to absolutes, yet we don’t see them; “All things are subject to Him, but we do not yet see them subject…BUT we see Jesus.” There is a established absolute…they are subject….yet in this visible realm…it does not seem like it….yet once we see Jesus we will be satisfied that what is walked out in incremental phases will work out into the absolutes declared.

It seems therefore when we come to a “UNTIL” in anything pertaining what we are praying about, hoping for, declaring to, we must accept the momentary “affliction” of contradiction. This is where the signs come in, to confirm the Word. They show us we are walking in one way UNTIL God the Father, and His Season determines the end of one age. It belongs to Him, and He has determined the day, the year by which this UNTIL persists.

What we have determined to be permanent is not, I thought it was, but it is a phase toward the final. We must therefore face our Christian life as a series of transitions, or as the Apostle Paul describes, from Glory to Glory, from faith to faith.

Let us therefore embrace this UNTIL so that we are fully mature and prepared to meet Him.

Maranatha!!!
