Fulness: Judgment and Recompense

I am going to change the direction a little, as the whole area of fulness needs to be looked at. We need to look at two words for fulness, one Hebrew, the other the Greek. This way we can understand the role fulness plays in the Ways of God.

Hebrew:

8003. שָׁלֵם shâlêm, shaw-lame’; from 7999; complete (lit. or fig.); espec. friendly:— full, just, made ready, peaceable, perfect (-ed), quiet, Shalem [by mistake for a name], whole.

James Strong, The New Strong’s Dictionary of Hebrew and Greek Words (Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 1996).

Greek:

4138. πλήρωμα plērōma, play´-ro-mah; from 4137; repletion or completion, i.e. (subj.) what fills (as contents, supplement, copiousness, multitude), or (obj.) what is filled (as container, performance, period):— which is put in to fill up, piece that filled up, fulfilling, full, fulness.

James Strong, The New Strong’s Dictionary of Hebrew and Greek Words (Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 1996).

From these two words and in particular we have an indication of how God works in our interactions with Him on the level of the nations, collectives and individuals.

In this section we need to define fulness in regard to the judgment and recompense that comes simultaneously, because we need to recognise and discern when fulness is reached and how this releases the dual judgment and recompense. And how this interacts with the Greek word axios:

ἀξίως axiōs, ax-ee´-oce; adv. from 514; appropriately:—as becometh, after a godly sort, worthily (-thy). Strongs Dictionary. Copyright.

Axios is the two scales of justice that are balanced, it is fulness that holds them, balanced and equal, and where there is injustice God’s “justice”, “fairness” brings the Hebrew concept of mishpawt (Justice) and tsedekar (righteousness) to be equally meted out.

To do justice to these two we need to investigate in the Word where fulness appears and understand in their various contexts how they relate to the days in which we live.

We will have 7 distinct parts or maybe more

  1. Fulness of the Godhead
  2. Fulness of Times
  3. Fulness of Him
  4. Fulness of God
  5. Fulness of Him that fills all
  6. Fulness of Iniquity
  7. Fulness of Eternity

We will try to go through these not merely a academic exercise but a insight that will help us interpret and discern the times we live in.

Right now with the upheavals and turmoil across the world we need to see it through Biblical eyes. Be blessed.

Flowing with the fulness of God causes us to walk in various stages and various scenarios and be assured and secured that God will get us where and how we need to be.

Maranatha!
