My People are destroyed for lack of knowledge 5: “for my I know my plans for you”

For the last 3 years we have passed through a veritable demarcation. In the inquiries being held across the globe it is verified that all was not what was being broadcast and published, and we were part of a worldwide conspiracy, where people were labelled conspiracy theorists and were called spreaders of disinformation. This so called “disinformation” became proven as true information. In that times Churches and ministries were instructed to close, to restrict, to close off, to put arrows on the floor of their sanctuaries, screens up, section off rows for not sitting in. The whole scene was like a war zone, I remember the date where craziness came in, 23rd March 2020. It was then we could not get flour and other products, and rationing came in. It seemed life just came to a full stop.

In this message I have some insights and some conjectures to make. I believe that we need to understand some things, going on from the last message 4, where we saw the Coming of Christ set in Kairos, not Kronos, the times and the seasons. There is a reason for this because we need to understand why the seasons change, and how they work in the things of God. The trigger for season change is the word “pleroma” signifying “fullness”, and “teleios” signifying perfection and completion, and how they work to bring us into the next season. How does this also tie up with Jeremiah 29:11, which I have spoken about before on this site, but today something crystallised in me that I knew I had to write.

For I know the plans I have for you when Judgment and Correction need to come to bring the new things of God

Many set the word in Jeremiah 29:11 in a different context when you take out the phrase from within its original location. It sounds very positive UNTIL you set it in its original context. Jeremiah 29 is a letter from the prophet Jeremiah to the captives in Babylon. It spells out the Kronos they were to enter into. They were to enter into 70 years of captivity. It is interesting to note that from Jesus’ birth to the destruction of Jerusalem is also 70 years. It seems that 70 is a purification of a generation time. Jeremiah tells them contrary to their own expectation that they would get victory over Babylon, it was not for a generation and that they were to build houses and settle. The thing that differentiates between Jeremiah and the prophets of his day, was his prophesying of judgment and correction and theirs of prosperity and victory. I understand that people do not go to Church to hear judgment words, yet Jeremiah whilst prophesying 70 years gave some very important promises. The Word when its preached within context we get despite tough times that may come , there are specific guidelines that should encourage. The Captivity was not to destroy God’s people, but to correct them and bring them to a new place spiritually because God was to bring a physical restoration and they needed to be in the right place to receive it. God even today is bringing us through some tough times, where our whole structure is being shaken, and we need to understand why.

I have taught in various places the need for a new approach and commitment to the Word, and Church. The two have been abused because we have needed to use the principles and the Church in a way to bring a following, for other objectives than that which the Word advocates. There is no doubt that since 2020 a new season of fear, uncertainty, stress, errors, scandals, political shakings, crises in finances and food, fuel price crises. There is a agenda at work to bring these, yet God is also purposing objectives through these various factors. We have had many years of blessings in many areas, yet we have not matured, some have veered off into dangerous heresies. The judgments we see are corrections that will have eternal fruits. For that generation that Jeremiah felt moved to write a letter, the fruit would be a new heart and a spirit indwelt by the Spirit of God where the Law would be written on the heart where obedience is birthed inwardly. This was that objective for those 70 years.

For I know the plans I have for you that you shall prepare for the fullness that brings the King of Glory.

This season, however tough it may be, however the shaking is felt in our families, and our churches, congregations, the objective is not to shake to ruin. It is to make room to behold Jesus in a new light and prepare for Him. The shaking is felt by mankind but its destiny is differentiated where men stand with Jesus. The Gospel Jesus has had too much emphasis. Psalm 24 places Him as He is. The King of Glory.

The words for Psalms 24 ring true, where King David asks “who shall ascend the Hill of the Lord”? This is the preparation every believer must make in this season of shaking. We are in a generation process where we shall be prepared to Ascend the Hill of the Lord. The reason being is that we need to prepare the open way for the King of Glory to come. It is because the place we will be in, will be the place WHERE He can reign. Where He does not reign, He cannot be present. That is the process. Whilst we can learn the processes of the Captivity, and how God supervised it with His prophets, the prophets today are either distracted by promises of prosperity, or political changes. 2020 showed us how the prophets missed it, and prophesied certain governments and presidents. What we verify is that God is confounding the political system, causing it to be devoid of principle and virtue, emptiness and humanism reign bringing with it, all manner of tyranny and corrupt policies. Here the prophets of the New Testament must point to King Jesus, and His Reign and get God’s people ready. I am sure God is doing that in certain quarters. The New Testament prophet must discern Jesus in the midst of His Church. As we have already seen in Acts 3: 19-21, Jesus must first come TO the Church before He comes FOR Her. The prophets must pray and exhort to see believers alight with new passion for the Lord, His Word and His Church. We see in Revelation 2 and 3 how Jesus is revealed to each of the 7 Churches. He is in her midst. The question David makes is about the qualifications of ascending the Holy Hill, having clean hands and a clean heart. That clean heart must be an undivided heart. A heart of a singular motivation, to know Him. Paul in Philippians 3 says this is the High Calling. It is the invitation God is bringing to us in this season. The Church must therefore be transformed to be a forerunner as John the Baptist was for Jesus. If that means going to the wilderness for preparation so it must be. The Church is key to the Coming of Christ, because for the Church the shaking is not for ruin, but for rising into maturity and fulness. (Teleio and pleroma)

For I know the plans I have for you is the reflection of Jesus bringing Him physically to reign and be victorious over His enemies.

The Church must reflect Christ perfectly so that when He comes, we will be as He is, as His Army bringing the final judgments. This is no apocalyptic imagination because Enoch saw the multitudes of righteous ones with the Lord, from many milleniums ago. That is why there is a heightened battle in our flesh, our minds, because the enemy does not want us part of that army. The flesh screams for attention, our minds race with anxieties, so that we will be distracted to this process. I remember before 2020 the Lord had given me Scripture concerning a marking of the righteous ones from the Book of Revelation, that preceded the judgments and the manifestations of the Beast and the Antichrist. I believe this marking process, who comes through the shaking, and purifying shall receive His Mark that shall protect and provide in the extreme times. Yet in the context of Jeremiah 29, it is not a short work, it may take years to complete. We need to look at the future soberly and know that when the enemy destroys our sanctuary God will be our sanctuary. When the enemy prevents our provision, God is our Provision. This is that process. Let us not get taken in that easy times are ahead, because they will not come. We know that wickedness of the highest order is abroad, and even believers have become affected and deceived. The Lord promises to lead us into all truth.

For I know the plans I have for you, to bring you through the fires and the seas to Myself

God’s plans are never frustrated. His plan is sure. He will bring us through and He is standing at our steadfast completion of our race of faith. He is the Author and Perfecter of our Faith. It is not about acquiring things, but acquiring Him in His fulness.

This season in this time is that process. We are on the road to the perfect eternal estate promised to us. We cry within our spirit for rest and peace. In this earth there can be no peace, until we have completed His Will for us. His plans for us are eternal and they incorporate very difficult processes. These processes open the everlasting doors of Psalms 24. They open the way for the coming King of Glory. For us to prepare for this we must not just focus on the Lord being the Suffering Lord, but we must embrace Him as Coming King. May we be found worthy to welcome Him to His Holy Hill which we have ascended by having clean hands and a pure heart!

Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus.
