An experience with Sepsis

I am going to make this post personal, after relating on a video recorded today to raise awareness of a silent killer. I have been home all this month recovering from this devastating experience. However what has become evident, our faith is key to the recovery and processing of what happens in a way that brings a therapeutic and potential cathartic experience too. I took some time recently donned in my bedroom robe to look at my journal from 2019 and the extensive travelling done. Shortly before Christmas having been at Downside Abbey, the Lord spoke to me: from Revelation … Continue reading An experience with Sepsis

Lessons taken from God’s covenant people

And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.Leviticus 26:12 KJV I wrote last week concerning Damascus and what stayed with me all week was that there needs to be a balance that God always brings which is the Axios, which is the Greek word used in New Testament scripture equivalent to Mishpat which means justice. The Greek word is the scales of justice that must be weighed out fairly with Someone righteous. We have God who is always righteous and just. That is what I sense God doing here in this … Continue reading Lessons taken from God’s covenant people

Lessons from Damascus

The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, And it shall be a ruinous heap. Isaiah 17:1 KJV The prophetic utterance of Isaiah has yet to come to pass. It is a Word of destruction. However God has begun to open something up about this Word because hidden in this process is a promise of a great move of Yeshua, the Spirit and Elohim in the Middle East which will far surpass the current cauldron of hatred, of injustice and apocalyptic movements through terrorism, concerning the times we live. I was surprised by God through … Continue reading Lessons from Damascus

Recovery update

It is almost 3 weeks since my serious almost fatal encounter with Sepsis. I have been under doctors orders to be at home recovering. I ask for continued prayer as here in the UK the temperatures have dropped below freezing this week. This presents challenges. I have had visits and numerous phone calls from doctors at Intensive Care. I would like to thank many that prayed throughout this time. We have clearly seen the Hand of the Lord for us. Motive for prayer

I have a son with specific gifts and talents that God surprises us with. He has also needs which I am going to share as a motive for prayer and also for anyone who desires to help us prayer fully. Joshua is reaching the end of schooling and entering into further education. He is just a overflow of God’s joy into our lives as he surprises us with his talents. He has a particular gift with technology and particular in the area of software and music via technology. We are trying to purchase a iPad Pro. We have raised about … Continue reading Motive for prayer

7 Purification Processes in the Word: Publication Update

I have been working since being in the USA last September on my first publication. In the title of this post God began in the Franciscan Retreat Centre in Colorado Springs, open up Psalm 12 to me. What at that time I thought was an immediate Word applicable to a personal situation became a voyage of discovery. Psalm 12.6 says The words of the Lord are pure words: As silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.  The Lord caused me to ask Him the seven purification phases, and to my surprise He gave them to me. This … Continue reading 7 Purification Processes in the Word: Publication Update

Psalm 138:7

The above Scripture is my experience, and when you look into the Hebrew of the word “revive” you see that the promise that in trouble we are promised reviving, that is the capacity of new life, miraculous raising up from a bad place. It is remaining alive. See below, “in pregnant sense of fulness of life in divine favour.” This is the season we need the reviving in the midst of trouble. Whatever trouble we may face we can call upon the “reviving”, restoring to life, be quickened. The reviving from sickness is ours for believing, or from feeling faint, … Continue reading Psalm 138:7

When Jesus is your focus on the water

And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.Matthew 14:25 KJV I write in a recovery period from a very deep trial where I saw death close up. I was literally thrown because I had a programme to travel to the USA today precisely, and this is a process where God will reveal a greater purpose. The first thing to note is that Jesus is coming to us in the realm of the miraculous. This is that season. This is that Kairos. When Jesus comes to us He comes to show us His … Continue reading When Jesus is your focus on the water

Intensive Care

A lot of expectations for 2020 meant that for at least 2 weeks I had been struggling with a virus. On the 2nd what started with what seemed to be a migraine headache escalated into kidney pain. By 11am I was blue in my skin, breathing shallow. My wife and daughter were decisive in getting me the help I needed in terms of paramedics who took me into hospital. I arrived in a very bad shape. Spent the time in Intensive Care. It was a case of finding the infection and getting my vitals, renal function back up. Many miracles … Continue reading Intensive Care
