The HARBINGER of Change; upheavals of history

Human history is replete with upheavals of various sorts. We see the first upheaval in Genesis 11 when a tower is constructed to reach heaven. The divine response is to confuse the language and disperse the people over the earth. The next narrative we see is Abram as an end to the period of the dispersion and His own call to a land he did not know.  The second upheaval is the Children of Israel leaving Egypt after 430 years of slavery. We see the whole process humiliate a mighty regional power to which the Red Sea sees the fate … Continue reading The HARBINGER of Change; upheavals of history

The Harbinger of Change Part 3; the Cross in time and eternity

I do not think the series would be complete without the Cross even getting a mention. However for all the fleeting generational problems that the Church passes you cannot get away from this fact; The Church that neglects its devotion to the Cross of Calvary is a Church on its downward slope to apostasy and heresy. The Lord the last few days has brought to mind the Cross and all He has spoken to me about the last few years.  The Cross is a daily visit in our devotion to the Lord. We need to see that the Cross has … Continue reading The Harbinger of Change Part 3; the Cross in time and eternity

The Harbinger of Change Part 2: 4 dimensions of Change explained.

“He changes the times and seasons, He removes kings, gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those who know understanding ” Daniel 2:21 Change starts with God Himself. An absolute undeniable fact demonstrated in the exchange between God and Daniel.  As a student of the Word we must always look at the context of what we bring as an exposition. We cannot take a verse out and use it to establish Biblical principle, we must establish a historical; spiritual and prophetic perspective out of what we are trying to convey.   There are 4 dimensions to the verse which … Continue reading The Harbinger of Change Part 2: 4 dimensions of Change explained.

The HARBINGER of Change Part 1; Introduction

Change… no-one disputes that changes are constant. The dispute is how those changes occur. This series is to examine how change occurs from a Biblical perspective. Revelation 22 says “Behold I make all things new”.  That is a cataclysmic shift in which the earth as we know it is replaced with something completely new.  Some of what I will share in this series is examine the greatest changes in Scripture bringing contemporary examples that can mirror what we see in current events. The Fallacy of Chaos  There is sometimes confusion as to what we define as being chaos; confusion. I … Continue reading The HARBINGER of Change Part 1; Introduction

All about Giving

Many of you were enquiring about Giving to this ministry. Yes this ministry first depends on God for keeping it sustained. Our trust is not in man because the human heart is unstable in all its ways. Second by giving to this ministry you are not investing in people but the vision and exercise of the ministry that God placed in them. If you have been blessed by the messages then consider either sending a gift , or make a regular commitment to give monthly. The benefits are that you are edified by what we transmit, and God will bless … Continue reading All about Giving

New Series!

As promised after much prayer and consideration I shall embark on a new series called THE HARBINGER OF CHANGE.  The Bible is full of example of sudden changes and the implications of them. However the changes which are sudden are not unannounced. There are serious and definite steps which occur before the changes happen.  We live in a world that since 1970 has seen the acceleration of changes in every part of society. These changes must be met with a Church that embraces change without compromising its mission or its message.  So await in the next day or so for … Continue reading New Series!

Update: personal

My silence is strategic in God because I am trying to listen to what He is wanting to communicate. I started this blog/website with the motivation of communicating what God speaks through His Word, through history, through Church events.  I have been on a deeper spiritual journey since February. This journey I see is reflected in my Word-view that when I look at the Bible I can discern through the text. This journey has not been easy because I have my eyes opened to realities which I was totally ignorant.  The walk with the Lord is self denial and crucifixion. … Continue reading Update: personal
