Through the Eyes of the Prophetic Special

Very short posts before I go off to a meeting.  The Lord has been talking to me about life changing circumstances.   Paul said ” these momentary afflictions are gaining for us an eternal weight of Glory. ” The Captivity we have been studying in this series is the focus because for 70 years the Israelites were in a foreign land; forced out and then brought back with governmental support.  God says that in His Word the Captivity prepared the people for Christ. Took away objects of idolatry and brought them back to the Law and the Prophets.  What does … Continue reading Through the Eyes of the Prophetic Special

Counsel for today part 2: Busyness or Business

Yesterday we were talking about Overload. Today we are talking about how that overload happens.  Everybody is occupying their time with something. Through the Eyes of the Prophetic part 3: public judgment and personal preservation

Jeremiah 29:11 ” for I know the plans I have for you; plans for your good and not your harm; plans to give you a hope and a future.”  I have not posted for a while due to issues regarding the transplant of my daughter in a distant hospital.  Now Nisia is home having won very trying battles. These being won by her faith and being helped by the prayers of many people.  The verse quoted above is part of a letter from the prophet Jeremiah. He is writing to the captives in Babylon.  In this series: through the Eyes … Continue reading Through the Eyes of the Prophetic part 3: public judgment and personal preservation
