The REAL meaning of Christmas Part 1: Preparation of silence

We start a new series of messages delving in deeper to the beauty of the Christmas story. We pray we can go beyond the traditional meanings and symbols that we attach to this wonderful season of the year. The first thing we notice in the beginning of this story is a 400 year silence. There are no great prophets prophesying to the nation of victories. What we see is the overun of the Persians by the Greeks and in turn by the Romans. A very turbulent time in history.  But in the “Celestial Silence” a beautiful work began. The silence … Continue reading The REAL meaning of Christmas Part 1: Preparation of silence

The Day of the Lord Part 4: seeing

We continue our series. John was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day… What was the reason? Greater REVELATION!!! Jesus Himself. It is very important that what we call ministry should really be a vision of Jesus Himself. Apostle Paul was an apostle by right because he had an encounter with Jesus. So the question is what are you seeing? If your focus is projects, church buildings, finances then you are not in the Spirit! And you are not partaking of the central point of what is the Call to ministry; YOUR VISION OF JESUS. It may seem radical to … Continue reading The Day of the Lord Part 4: seeing

Personal

Just a personal note. Just wondered if on this blog I am actually talking to myself. You know talking to oneself is a step away from needing specific therapy. So I am writing this post today just to ask if there is any kind soul out there who is blessed by what I write. If there are people out there who are blessed please let me know. Interaction is good for the soul. Maybe I might also get the encouragement I need right now. I am here on the sofa exhausted after the move and have some kind of flu. … Continue reading Personal

Day of the Lord Part 3: Abiding

We continue our series. I want to share the very personal truths that I have had to learn that saved me from certain burn out to the point of no return. God wants us to abide. The Day of the Lord is accessed in the Spirit The Spirit is accessed via Abiding in Him. We Need to understand what the statement in REVELATION is dealing with. It is taking John to a higher place. 1 where his focus is no longer on himself but on God 2. Where his focus was not on his own strength but on the power … Continue reading Day of the Lord Part 3: Abiding

Day of the Lord Part 2: Entering

REVELATION cites in chapter 1 the whole dimension that John was in the Spirit on the day of the Lord. Hebrews 4 speaks to us of two specific days: 1. Numbers 14: Physical challenge of entry 2. Joshua 3: actual entry 3. Mark 1, John 1: entry into Jordan The first two are physical challenges. The third being a spiritual entry. And if we note well we will see that Jordan features in them all. Hebrews 4 gives us a warning concerning faith, obedience and action . When we read the Numbers 14 account we see that what prevailed was … Continue reading Day of the Lord Part 2: Entering
