REVELATION 1:6 BASE TEXT

“..and has made us to be a Kingdom of Priests and Kings to serve His God and Father.”

The Lord brought me into a different place in the Word, when I desired to continue meditating on Isaiah 6, but God knows all things. He knows what His People need.

What God’s people need right now is: TO ACTIVATE THE CORPORATE AND INDIVIDUAL PRIESTHOOD. 

It is not in that order, rather we need to alert the individual saint that he has a Priesthood order to fulfil. We have for some part narrowed our vision of Church, local Church, to be a meeting which SATISFIES US.

But if we study the Word we see from both New and Old Testaments that: THE PRIESTHOOD IS ORDAINED BY BLOOD AND LINEAGE TO PERFORM SACRIFICES AND SACRAMENTS TO SATISFY THE CELESTIAL ORDER WHICH BRINGS A HEAVENLY RESPONSE!!!

What do I mean by the statement above?

I mean that when we pray, minister TO THE LORD, we must EXPECT a response!!!

The problem from ministry down to congregation, or even UP to congregation, correctly spoken, is that we have become too focussed on ministering to the PEOPLE without first MINISTERING TO THE LORD!!!

Can we be amazed if there is little move of God in our midst if we are TOO BUSY looking at our brothers and sisters needs?

And if we are too concerned for horizontal needs, we will become ineffective in meeting the needs, because all needs have a spiritual root, and fruit. Whatever need we have must be met first by ministering unto the Lord. 

We have a perfect example in Anna, in Luke 2, who ministered TO THE LORD, 84 years. This is beyond the years she was married and growing up. I am sure that this ministration unto the Lord paved much spiritual way for the coming of Jesus, and preparing a PEOPLE FOR THE LORD.

So if our VISION is a project, a building, a outreach, HOW POOR WE HAVE BECOME! Not because we have those visions, but because OUR FIRST VISION, OUR FIRST MISSION MUST BE TO MINISTER TO THE LORD.

This is the first stage of being a priesthood unto Him. We must be as Moses, who dwelt in the Glory, the Holiness of God, who for being in that presence 40 days and 40 nights, on the Mount, received the vision for a physical NATION OF PRIESTS. 1 Peter 2:9 shows us we are a CHOSEN people, a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD. This priesthood is not ordinary, it is chosen, dressed in ornate robes of RIGHTEOUSNESS, to perform a service, in the order of the Lord, which brings heaven to earth.

Moses came down the mountain and transmitted to Bezaleel THE VISION, and he performed the directives, and when everything was made, so the Glory came down and resided among men THROUGH AN ACTIVATED PRIESTHOOD.

Where there is no priesthood mentality, there are no signs, there are no wonders. And how can there be a priesthood mentality if we have no concept what is that priesthood?

The first calling of the Lord is to be drawn unto Him. Levi, means joined, and as such when Israel was found in sin, so Levi responded to the call to priesthood and sanctification. God caused them to dwell and minister in the Glory.

The lack of glory today is because there is a lack of notion of what is the Priesthood, and its activation across the Corporate Church. We have reduced our meetings to please ourselves. Let us now see the MEETING as the TENT OF MEETING where we MINISTER TO THE LORD. We bring our lives to His Mercy so that we obtain GRACE so that we can complete the Priesthood so that the Glory may descend in our midst. God wants us to be Levi, joined to Him, not just for SERVICE, but for INTIMACY, that our SERVICE be not as those who are MECHANICAL but rather His Glory be manifest by those who by FREE will surrender and give unto Him their lives.

This priesthood needs activation, and the first place we come to, to activate it is through INTIMACY.
