The Upper Room

Today have come on a  journey as we have also with our teaching. We have gone through so much. We have seen Jesus prepare us for ministry and power, authority. There is a time for closing the Upper Room. There is time for moving forward. Let us establish some principles here: 1. We go into the Upper Room for a season 2. We get broken, spoken, token for our lives. 3. We are taught about true authority, not dictatorship. 4. Greatness is not about how HIGH we go but how low we stoop to know Him in our humility. 5. … Continue reading The Upper Room

The Upper Room: And you shall be my witnesses

In the last moments of Jesus’ time on earth, the most powerful statements mark the beginning of the book of Acts. Jesus said that the Disciples would be endued with power and become His Witnesses. To become Jesus’ witness we need to have an ENCOUNTER with Christ, to WITNESS Him. By vision, by contact one encounters Him not just by seeing but there is an interaction that passes the physical realm, into the heavenlies where Jesus is. The Spirit takes us near to Him. Not only we are near to Him, we become a people in Him. And He in … Continue reading The Upper Room: And you shall be my witnesses

The Upper Room: Let your hearts not be troubled

Jesus spoke these words to address the spirit of the age. We must also look at what happens when our spirit is troubled. 1. When our heart is troubled the focus is on ourselves and not on God. 2. When our heart is troubled the focus is on what appears to be negative or something negative happening. 3. When our heart is troubled we are distracted from what the Lord is doing or about to do. 4. When our heart is troubled we no longer have the capacity to be in faith, but our orientation is from a basis of … Continue reading The Upper Room: Let your hearts not be troubled

The Upper Room: The Covenant Meal

We continue our series concerning the Upper Room, because we come to the most pinnacle moment spent there with Jesus. It is what many call the HOLY COMMUNION. It is however far more than that. The bread was big, broken in large pieces, the wine was not just in a small chalice. The central theme of the Upper Room is covenant. The witness that comes from the covenant. What we need to see is that the place of this COVENANT MEAL is the following principles: communion, union, provision, healing.  This part of Jesus work with the disciples is this part, to … Continue reading The Upper Room: The Covenant Meal

The Upper Room: When the Day had fully COME

There is an appointed DAY…the Day of the Lord comes to all of us. Revelation 1:10 says that John was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day! Oh that the Lord’s Day would come!!! I believe as we tarry, according to my last post, we come into the LORD’S DAY. The Lord’s Day is a day of visitation, a day of revelation, a day of manifestation! The apostles, as they are now known were in ONE PLACE, at ONE TIME, and when the DAY OF PENTECOST HAD COME…so they heard and experienced what Jesus had promised them. The Upper Room which was … Continue reading The Upper Room: When the Day had fully COME

Upper Room: Tarrying for Time

After Jesus had spoken to them for 40 days, they were to part company. I can just imagine that now Jesus did not need to speak in parables. His ressurrection and appearence to them, opened their spirits to a new dimension. When we consider how Jesus is revealed to John, in Revelation 1, so Jesus is revealed to the disciples in a new way. Their spirits must have been alive and attentive . How much we need to be ALIVE AND ATTENTIVE. But how? No manner of preaching will do this, but an ENCOUNTER WITH CHRIST in a new dimension to … Continue reading Upper Room: Tarrying for Time

The Upper Room: I will come to you and receive you

Very often John 14:1 is quoted very often at funerals, I have heard it. As we have seen the Upper Room is a central part of our preparation for our RELEASE into the full flow of the Spirit in ministry through our lives. Once we grasp this preparation we will be released into the full potential destined for us. Very often the very preparation we will undergo is so painful that we hesitate to continue. Revivals and visitations of the Lord were the start not the end result of what God wants. What do I mean? Imagine the spiritual momentum … Continue reading The Upper Room: I will come to you and receive you

Out of the Box Training/ Bezaleel Ministries

Just a pause from the Upper Room. We need your prayers as we are currently working to launch a Training Agency with government support. I am currently working with a local agency in which to do this. This Wednesday have a interview with a development group. Just as exciting as it is, my heart is in my call. I was called into ministry in 1987. And since then have been extensively used in the prophetic. My heart is to devote time fully into this. But financial constraints have meant we need to be flexible where and how God provides. Right … Continue reading Out of the Box Training/ Bezaleel Ministries

The Upper Room: Preparation for Purpose

We continue with this series today. I have been blessed to notice that new people have followed us and we welcome you. What was the purpose of the Upper Room? We need to get this clear. I firmly believe it was the “womb” of the Church. Birthing is painful business. When we consider the intercessors of the Hebrides Revival, who surprised one minister by saying that they were not in the meetings themselves. They explained that God’s burden would come on them, with great agony of soul, once a soul was born into the Kingdom the burden eased until they … Continue reading The Upper Room: Preparation for Purpose
